Mobile Planetarium

Take your students on a 45 minute journey through the universe from the comfort and security of your own school. Our portable, inflatable planetarium will come right to your location and dazzle your budding astronomers as they are taken on a tour of the solar system.

Students will enter the dome and be introduced to a "star filled" sky. Our navigator with the
use of a laser pointer, will guide students through the stars of the Northern Hemisphere exactly as they appear on the day of the presentation.

Students will learn how to identify stars and constellations. They will be introduced to Greek mythological characters and see how these heroes of the past can be found in the stars.

Students will witness the night sky in different seasons and from different global perspectives. They will also be treated to a slide presentation which enhances the presenter's tour of the Solar System.

“I will always remember hearing the kids gasp in awe at seeing Saturn in all its glory from the moon Mimas for the first time. This is as close as you can get to your own private observatory/spaceship/time-machine!" -Darren Townsley, Star Dome, Winnipeg, Canada

This planetarium is for all levels and all ages, from pre-schoolers learning about the constellation and all the way up to University/College students learning how to navigate through the sky, how to find the deep space objects in the sky. It is very versatile. Students will simply love this planetarium!

This is perfect for School Fairs or other school events. You do not have to send out your students to experience planetarium outer space exploration. You can have a planetarium right inside your campus. As the booking calendar can get filled-up in no time, better to book your school planetarium event now.
